artist's statement: "I am professionally trained with a B.F.A. from the Columbus College of Art and Design, and have worked in both the fine and applied art fields. Everything is here including the story of my battle with mental illness. It is a story of strife and struggle. Of joy and victory. Of angst and celebration. It is the story of a gay man coming of age in the 1970s, and who has lived through every decade since. There's also a section of personal pictures to peruse. I am thrilled that this story may be added to the tapestry and histories of our community."
