Connie and Carla are best friends who want to make a name for themselves in the musical theater. One night, Connie and Carla witness a low-level Mafiosi hit. After watching a drag review, they decide to pose as drag queens. Their act is an immediate hit, and soon they're the toast of L.A.'s gay community.
